We employ industry-standard encryption, access controls, and monitoring to protect data.

5. Analytics and Cookies

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized traffic data, such as device type and page views. Cookies may be used to enhance user experience. You can disable cookies in your browser without losing core functionality.

6. Data Retention

Business account data is retained for as long as the subscription is active.

End-user feedback data is retained only as long as required to provide reporting.

Upon account cancellation, data is soft-deleted and permanently purged within 90 days.

7. SMS Messaging Data

What We Collect

When an end-user provides their mobile phone number through a participating business's customer intake form, point-of-sale system, QR code, or web form, we collect that phone number along with their name for the sole purpose of sending transactional SMS messages related to their experience with that business.

How SMS Data Is Used

Phone numbers are used exclusively to:

  • Send customer feedback and rating requests on behalf of the business
  • Send follow-up messages based on the customer's response (e.g., a public review link for positive experiences, or a private feedback request for less positive ones)
  • Process opt-out (STOP) and help (HELP) requests

SMS Consent Records

We maintain records of how and when end-user consent was obtained (e.g., web form submission timestamp, point-of-sale entry). These records are retained for compliance purposes.

No Sharing for Marketing

Phone numbers collected for SMS messaging are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Phone numbers are only used to deliver messages on behalf of the business the end-user transacted with.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Revoking SMS Consent

End-users may revoke their SMS consent at any time by replying STOP to any message received. Once opted out, no further messages will be sent from that business through the Rep Jump platform.

8. Marketing Communications

With consent, we may send marketing or promotional emails to business customers. You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link or by contacting support@repjump.com.

9. Access and Control

Business users may review, correct, or delete their data by contacting us directly. End-users may request access or deletion of their feedback data through the business they interacted with, or by contacting us.

10. Cross-Border Transfers

Some service providers (Twilio, Mailgun, Stripe, Google) may process data outside of Canada. All such vendors comply with recognized international privacy and security standards.

11. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR Alignment)

While we operate under Canadian law, our lawful bases for processing include:

  • Consent (for sending communications)
  • Contractual necessity (to provide subscribed services)
  • Legitimate interests (to maintain and improve the platform)

12. Children's Privacy

Rep Jump is not intended for individuals under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
